COMMUNICATION PLAN
A1: Marking of restored water wells - Water Well's Trail
A concept of marking will be developed and information boards will be purchased to be set in front of each of the restored water well in the cross-border area. Information boards will provide information on historical and cultural aspect of an individual water well and its nearby surrounding. Leaflets with recognised markings will be available in all tourist and information centres.
A2: Production of Promotional Material
Data on water wells, their cultural and historical heritage will be obtained and data on the educational path will be used for their publication in the final brochure. The brochure will be developed in four languages including a detailed description of events taking place next to water wells and supported with photographic material.
Invitations and posters will be developed for each individual event. By means of workshops, a product to promote water wells as a souvenir will be periodically selected. This souvenir will symbolically present water wells and will be included in a visual presentation of the promotional material (invitations, posters). Promotional postcards for visitors and a web site rich in content and imagery will be developed to carefully monitor events taking place next to water wells.
